TERMS OF USE

This website (the “Site”) is owned and operated by SIS ’88 Pte Ltd (“SIS”).  Your access to and use of the Site is subject to the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”) and the applicable law. 

1. General

(a) By accessing and continuing to access the Site, you are deemed to have agreed to be bound by the Terms.  If you do not agree to be bound by the Terms, please do not continue to access or use the Site.

(b) SIS reserves the right at its sole discretion, and without prior notice, to remove or otherwise stop providing access to the Site either permanently or temporarily.  SIS further reserves the right to modify the Terms from time to time at its sole discretion and without prior notice.   Modification to the Terms will be posted on the Site and you hereby agree that continued use of the Site after any modification to the Terms shall constitute your agreement to be bound by the modified Terms. 

(c) The Site is for your personal use and information. Unless otherwise provided herein, all contents and materials on the Site are presented to provide information regarding SIS and its products and/or services.

(d) As a condition of your access to and use of the Site, you hereby represent and warrant that (i) you shall comply with all applicable laws in connection with your access to and use of the Site and (ii) you shall not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by the Terms.

(e) Any information supplied through the Site or by any SIS employee, agent or representative, whether by telephone, facsimile, electronic mail or other form of communication, is for general informational purposes only, and does not constitute legal, medical or other professional advice. Health related information provided through the Site is not a substitute for medical advice and you are advised to consult your personal physician or medical practitioner for the relevant medical treatment or advice. 

2. Intellectual Property Rights

(a) The contents of the Site, unless otherwise apparent, are created and owned by SIS, and are protected by trade mark, copyright and other forms of intellectual property rights.   

(b) All rights in the trade marks, trade names, company names and logos, product names and logos, packaging and designs of all SIS or third party products and/or services, belong exclusively to SIS or their respective owners, and are protected from reproduction or any form of unauthorised use under national and international trademark and copyright laws. The use and display of trade marks or any materials on the Site is not intended to, and should not be construed as amounting to, a grant of a licence, right or permission to use any of the trade marks or materials. 

(c) All copyright in the contents provided on the Site, including but not limited to the text, images and graphics therein, are owned by SIS or its third party licensors, to the full extent provided under national and international copyright laws. Save that SIS hereby grants you a revocable limited licence to reproduce contents from the Site for the sole purpose of accessing and viewing the contents of the Site at a single computer for personal and non-commercial use, any reproduction, copying, or redistribution for commercial purposes of any of the contents of the Site without the prior written consent of SIS is strictly prohibited. 

3. Links to other sites

Unless otherwise expressly stated, links provided from the Site to any other third party sites shall not be taken to amount to a representation that such other third party sites are affiliated to or otherwise associated with SIS.  SIS is providing the links to you only as a convenience, and SIS shall not be held responsible or liable for any damage or loss which you may incur by accessing such third party sites from hyperlinks from the Site.
 
4. Privacy Policy

You undertake and agree to abide by the terms of SIS’ privacy policy which forms part of the Terms, and is accessible from the Site.

5. Disclaimer

The information and content in the Site are provided on an “As Is” basis without any warranty or representation of any kind whatsoever, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including without limitation (i) any warranty relating to the correctness, accuracy, reliability, quality, completeness of the information and content provided in the Site (ii) any implied warranty as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or title applicable to any products and/or services provided by SIS, its related companies and affiliates, and (iii) any warranty that access to the Site shall be uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free. SIS disclaims any and all such representations and warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.   

6. Limitation of Liability

(a) In no event shall SIS or its affiliates, or any party involved in creating or operating the Site, be liable to you or any third party for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your access, failure to access, use or misuse of the Site and/or its contents, or in connection with any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in transmission, computer virus, or failure in respect of the Site.  

(b) In cases where the applicable law in certain jurisdictions do not allow any or all of the exclusions or limitations as provided in the Terms herein, SIS’ liability in such jurisdictions shall be limited to the extent permitted by law in those jurisdictions.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and the parties hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
